A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman from Clydach.
South Wales police have confirmed the discovery of a body in Clydach, Swansea, although not officially identified, next of kin have been informed and being supported.
Seventy-four-year-old Sandra Thomas is missing from Clydach, Swansea.
She was last seen wearing black or navy trousers, a navy quilted jacket and with her a black bag which has a grey band at the bottom.
South Wales Police released a statement on Thursday afternoon (Mar 11).
A spokesperson said: “Officers searching for 74-year-old missing person Sandra Thomas have today located a body in the Clydach area – although it has not been officially identified Sandra’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.”
