CARMARTHEN GOLF CLUB Seniors Section held their Annual Dinner and Charity Auction at the Club recently.
This well attended event was organised by Colin Lewis who was also the Auctioneer for the evening and conducted the auction in his own humorous and inimitable way.
Despite the banter and goodhumoured exchanges from the bidders a substantial amount of money was raised.
Ray Sinden the newly elected Captain chose the Carmarthen branch of LATCH for his charity and following the event handed over a cheque for one thousand pounds to
Helen Gravell the local LATCH representative Helen expressed her sincere thanks for the donation to the cause which helps children who are being treated for cancer and gives support to their families.
