A FUNDRAISING coffee morning was recently organised by the Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Cribyn’s Canolfan Bro Steffan.
Ceredigion PRU managed to raise an impressive £109.50 towards new sports equipment for the centre at the coffee morning which took place on Monday (May 23).
Ceredigion PRU offers a bespoke and engaging curriculum that meets the individual needs of the most vulnerable pupils in the county and is a highly valued service within education.
These pupils, who could have social, emotional or behavioural difficulties, medical conditions, learning disabilities or mental health problems, are provided with a personalised support package to help them overcome their barriers to learning.
There was also a cake and raffle sale at the coffee morning, which was organised by the pupils at the centre.
Members of the local community were invited along to the morning to support the event and help to make it a wonderful success.
Janette Reynolds, Assistant Head of the PRU, said: “All the pupils showed great manners on the day and ensured that everyone from the community enjoyed themselves. A great morning was had by all.”
