Foel ease past Kidwelly

FELINFOEL remain top of League 1 West as they thumped Kidwelly 43-3 to earn their twelfth win of the season on Saturday (Jan 19).

Three youth boys started the game for Felinfoel as Eray Wilson, Josh Edwards and Steffan Richards all got their chance to play.

It was an emphatic victory for the league leaders who played well despite the wet and difficult conditions.

Youngster Wilson was one of those to get on the scoresheet and the visitors held a 15-3 lead at half time.

Other tries came from Dafydd Daniel (scrum half), Johnny George (outside half), Captain Jo Hutchings (centre), Josh Skelding (wing forward) and Curtis Morris (No8).

Full back Aled Roberts was also in good form as he kicked five conversions and one penalty.

The win for Felinfoel means they are now fifteen points clear of second placed Gowerton having played a game less.

On Saturday (Jan 26), Felinfoel are at home to Dunvant and the leaders will look to avenge the 31-17 defeat suffered earlier in the season.

Kidwelly will be looking to bounce back and are also at home as they welcome Crymych.
