Merlins Bridge 3 St Clears 3
A LAST minute goal by Steve McNabney ensured that Merlins Bridge shared the points in a good game of football on the Racecourse.
It was all St Clears during the first half and the pressure paid off in the 14th minute when a mix up in the Bridge defence saw Steve Thomas score a well taken goal.
The Wizards equalised a minute after the break when a cross from Sion Thomas found Daniel Bryce who headed home a powerful effort.
The Saints took the lead again in the 54th minute when Thomas scored his second with a fine effort and shortly afterwards Ian Darbyshire gave his side a 3-1 lead with a powerful volley.
Bryce got on the scoresheet again a minute later completing a good move by the Bridge midfield.
With one minute of the game remaining a break out by the Bridge midfield ended with McNabney firing home to earn the Bridge a valuable point.
