WHITLAND were knocked out of the SWALEC Plate after a tight tussle against Kidwelly.
The score line will not reflect the effort showed by Whitland but the luck of the bounce favoured Kidwelly, as the 50-50 situations went in the visitors’ direction. The break down posed a serious concern for Whitland as they seemed to be heavily penalised in that area.
The try scorers for Kidwelly were back rower Richard Pearce and Adam Kirkbride, both converted by Adam Davies.
Whitland’s next game is at home to Kenfig Hill on January 25.
