MEADS SQUASH CLUB in Milford Haven have rounded off a spectacular winter season for the club, seeing two of their sides crowned as champions of Pembrokeshire Divisions One and Two.
The Junior team ran away with Division Two, winning eleven games and losing only one game, which is a remarkable achievement in itself, but considering that all the players are between the ages of 13 and 16, playing against men and last year finished bottom, the achievement becomes even more special.
The team provides a great sustainability of the sport of squash in the county, and hopefully they can inspire more clubs to coach juniors.
The Senior B side also finished as winners in the Pembrokeshire Division One, rounding off a fantastic season for Meads Squash Club.
