Milford United continue good form

MILFORD UNITED continued their good form on Saturday (Feb 12) as they beat Pennar Robins seconds 4-1 at Bush Camp.

They are now unbeaten in six matches, a run which stretches back to December 18, and now sit third in Division 2.

That run also included a 5-1 win over Pennar seconds at Marble Hall and it took them just seven minutes of Saturday’s game to open the scoring.

Liam Parks got the goal and they held on to their 1-0 lead until half time.

In the second half, Liam Parr scored on the hour mark to double Milford’s lead and two minutes later it was 3-0 as Parks scored his second goal of the game.

Liam Williams then pulled a goal back for Pennar to give them some hope of a comeback but they were unable to find the net again.

Parr then made sure of the points with his second goal of the game in injury time to make it 4-1 to Milford United.

On Saturday, February 19, Milford take a break from league action as they play Broad Haven in the first round of the Second Division Cup at Marble Hall.

Pennar seconds are also in action in the cup as they host Johnston.
