Scarlets open away to Ulster

SCARLETS will kick off their 2018/19 Guinness PRO14 season away to Ulster Rugby at the Kingspan Stadium on September 1.

The west Wales side were beaten in the PRO14 final by double-winners Leinster and they will be the first visitors to Parc Y Scarlets a week later.

They have two further home games in September against Benetton on September 15 and against the Southern Kings on September 29.

The first derby of the season comes on October 6 when the Ospreys visit the Parc.

The Scarlets will then make the trip to the Liberty Stadium to play the Ospreys three days before Christmas on December 22.

Cardiff Blues are the visitors to Parc Y Scarlets on December 29 and that is followed by another home Welsh derby as they play the Dragons in their first game in 2019.

The Scarlets will finish their season against the Dragons in April with that fixture likely to be part of the Judgement Day double header.
