St Clears prove too strong for Cwmgors

ST CLEARS proved too strong for Cwmgors in their Division 3 Cup clash on Saturday (Sept 17) as they ran out 55-5 winners.

Llifon Davies, Dan Griffiths and Cambul Evans all scored tries for the visitors who dominated for much of the game.

Tom Williams, Jac Howells, Geraint Harries, Thomas Mason, Alfie Montgomery and Jonathan Gosling all crossed for tries for the Saints.

Dan Griffiths added five conversions and the Saints began their cup campaign with a bonus point win.

The other game in group N went a similar way with Llandeilo winning 67-5 away at Tregaron.

The next round of cup matches is set for October 15 with St Clears hosting Tregaron while Cwmgors travel to Llandeilo.

On Saturday, September 24, St Clears travel to Neyland in League 3 West A.
