Tenby edge Neyland in angling duel

Screen Shot 2016-02-22 at 14.50.27NEYLAND SEA ANGLING CLUB held its latest match at Dale beach and it was an inter club match with our friends from Tenby Sea Angling Club. As usual there was a great turnout of anglers with just enough room on the beach for everyone.

The fish were proving difficult to find for the first few hours of the match then they came alive and showed up in decent numbers. This was the first interclub of the year with Tenby and the fortunes went in Tenby’s favour on this occasion but the side from Neyland will be looking to try and pull it back on their return match later in the year when they visit Tenby South Beach.

Taking first place was Ben McDonald (Tenby) 2nd was Hadyn Cole (Tenby) 3rd was Keith Williams (Neyland) and 4th Rob Morris (Neyland).

Top junior was Chloe Morris (Neyland). The next match is on 14th February at Amroth booking in at 2pm. Anyone wishing to join the club can come along on the day. Free membership for under 16s.
