Three’s the magic number for the Cardis

cardiganCardigan 28
Llandeilo 13

THE TEIFISIDERS made it three wins in as many games as they brushed aside bottom placed Llandeilo who are yet to win a league game this season. First half tries for the Cardis came from flanker Aled Meredith and outside half Llyr Tobias, who missed both conversions before adding a penalty.

Llandeilo replied with an unconverted try from back rower Emyr Richards. In the second half, Cardigan secured the bonus point as Meredith claimed his second try, and Emyr Harries and Sion James slide over the whitewash. Llandeilo tried their best to reply and manage a penalty from Gareth Jones and a consolation try from number 8 Dan Thomas late on. This victory sees Cardigan leapfrog Haverfordwest at the foot of the table.
