AN EMPTY town centre building is set to become a betting shop after councillors approved plans on Tuesday. Councillors at Tuesday’s planning and rights of way meeting approved the change in use of the building. The building in Quay Street, Haverfordwest, is located next to Eddie Rocks nightclub and was previously used as an interior decorator shop. Council officers say that the development would be acceptable and was suitable for leisure use. As part of the plans a satellite dish will be installed as well as a pedestrian side door. Cllr Brian Hall moved the recommendation for approval and councillors voted unanimously in favour of the plans.
