A YOUNG artist who has been described as “brilliant” has tragically been found dead in her home, just weeks after graduating.
Jess Knowles, 26, was found dead in her flat on Spilman Street, Carmarthen, on August 31 after suffering what is believed to be a mystery seizure.
Just weeks before she had completed her Fine Art BA at Coleg Sir Gar, which is part of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
She was scheduled to start her residency at the School of Art in Cyprus, and was also planning to do a Masters in Fine Art in Cardiff, London or Bristol.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating the death of a 26-year-old woman at a residential property in Carmarthen.
“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
