WEST WALES MP’s have been discussing the future of community radio. Mark Williams MP from Ceredigion led a delegation of MPs to meet with Culture Media and Sport Minister Ed Vaizey. South Pembrokeshire MP Simon Hart was among those in attendance. Mark Williams MP told The Herald:
“Community radio stations have expressed their concern that the terms of their licences may restrict opportunities for raising funds via advertising or sponsorship. The minister has indicated a review will be undertaken and I am sure interested parties locally will wish to take part in that review.”
