POLICE have arrested a Carmarthenshire man at Heathrow Airport after it was suspected he was planning to leave the UK to fight ISIS in Iraq.

The 22-year-old from Pembrey was detained for 30 hours at Heathrow last Tuesday (Sep 13) before being arrested and transported back to Carmarthenshire.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “A 22-year-old man from the Carmarthenshire area has been arrested in London on suspicion of terrorism offences.
