Penalty try keeps Kidwelly top

Carmarthen Athletic 10
Kidwelly 14

KIDWELLY maintained their three point lead at the top with a nervy 14-10 win at league strugglers Carmarthen Athletic.

Jamie Evans touched down alongside a penalty try and two Steffan Marchall conversions were enough to scrape a result.

For Carmarthen Robbie Thomas grabbed a good try and Shaun Curran added 5 points with his trusty right boot. The game was marred by a nasty neck injury to Kidwelly Captain Andy Francis.
