Ponty reserves see off Cwmamman

PONTARDAWE Town reserves beat Cwmamman United 3-1 on Saturday (Aug 14) in the FAW Reserve league.

Cwm travelled to a strong Pontardawe side with a much changed side as a number players had stepped up to support the first team and it proved a challenge too far on the day.

Ponty were straight out of the blocks and took two early chances from Tyrone Cadeau and Christian Evans for a 2-0 cushion.

Cwm continued to probe and in the 39th Cam Jones pulled a goal back setting up an interesting second half.

A hard fought game was then sealed in the 68th minute with Ponty’s third goal from Dylan Bebb.

Cwm will now look to be back to their best when they entertain Llanelli Town reserves on Sat 21 Aug at Grenig Park.
