LLANELLI Wanderers went through to the third round of the WRU Plate on Saturday (Oct 27) as they beat Brynamman 22-15.
It was a closely fought contest but in the end the fitness of the Wanderers proved too much as they saw the game out.
Ben Phillips scored the only try of the game for the Wanderers which was converted by Rhydian Morgan.
Morgan added a further five penalties to help his side through to the next round.
It was a well-deserved win for the Wanderers who did the basics right and they will now look forward to their tie in the third round.
The Wanderers now take a break from league action due to the Wales international and return on Saturday (Nov 10), when they travel to second placed Gowerton.
