A PENCADER man is to stand trial charged with indecently assaulting two girls when they were aged under 16.
Roy Thomas Kenneth Fairhurst, aged 69, appeared before Judge Keith Thomas at Swansea Crown Court today (Jan 20) for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Fairhurst, of Llanfihangel-arth, denied three charges relating to the first girl and one of indecency with a child in relation to the second.
Some of the alleged offences are said to have taken place more than 40 years ago.
Fairhurst was granted bail until the start of a four day trial on May 8.
