Police appeal after spate of burglaries in Carmarthen

POLICE are appealing for information following three burglaries in two Carmarthen streets in two days.

Break-ins were reported to have taken place at properties in Llwyn Meredydd at around 1.30am and between 7pm and 10pm on Wednesday, July 17.

A third burglary was reported in Capel Evan Road between midnight and 6am on Thursday, July 18.

Money, an iPad, iPhone, perfumes a purse, handbag, bank cards and an xBox were taken during the burglaries.

The Carmarthen neighbourhood policing team are carrying out house to house enquiries and offering crime prevention advice to residents in the area, asking them to check their outbuildings, garages and reminding them to ensure their property is kept secure at all times.

Officers are advising if you have been offered any of the items listed above for sale and suspect they could be stolen, to report it immediately.
