Two hospitalised after A485 crash

TWO PEOPLE were hospitalised following a crash on the A485 at approximately 7:15pm last night (June 6).

Emergency services, including Dyfed-Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue and the Welsh Ambulance Service, attended the incident and the road was closed for two hours.

Two people involved in the crash were transported to Glangwili Hospital.

A fire service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.17pm on Tuesday to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A485 passed Alltwalis.

“We sent a crew from Llandysul to the scene. They were involved in making the area safe and assisted police with the removal of one of the vehicles from the roadway.

“They also stabilised the other vehicle and used absorbent granules due to a fuel spillage on the road.”
